Just an update for you - I shipped my candies from PA to my father in Oregon. He then shipped them to me in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and they arrived today. 
They are in great condition, and I have been sharing them with my Dutch neighbors and friends in my community. 
Your candies have brought joy to a variety of people, a grumpy old Dutchman who owns a bookstore, a young Dutch veterinarian, a bald hairdresser who specializes in curls, and a young Ukrainian couple who escaped the war.
I was born and raised in PA and these remind me of growing up, going to the Apple Orchard and getting a gallon of apple cider and maple syrup candies.
