  • How many gallons of sap does it take to make a gallon of syrup?
That depends on the year and the time of year. Typically, our trees give sap that contains about 1.5 % sugar, which equals about 67 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup.
  • How much sugar is added to make the syrup?
The sugar comes from the tree in the sap. Therefore, Maple Syrup does not contain any added sugars. Pure Maple Syrup does not contain other ingredients.
  • What do you use the infused syrup for?
Infused syrups can be used the same way that you use Pure Minehart Gap Maple Syrup. You can also use it in any creative way that you desire. Some of my personal favorites are Coffee Infused Maple Syrup drizzled over vanilla ice cream and the Bourbon Barrel-Aged Syrup is great as a glaze on salmon. The Vanilla Infused Syrup is a favorite coffee sweetener for many and the Cinnamon Infused Maple Syrup is great spread lightly on toast.
  • How far will Minehart Gap Maple ship?
Currently, we offer shipping to anywhere that USPS flat rate shipping boxes will take the syrup. Please contact us if your needs are not in that area at minehartgap@gmail.com, we will do our best to find a way to get syrup to you.
  • How do I store Maple Syrup?
Maple Syrup can be stored in any cool dark place to preserve the color and flavor of the syrup. Once opened, store the syrup in the refrigerator. Maple Syrup will store for a very long time if unopened.
